Kodi 17 .6.

Hello Ive TRIED just about everything!! Kodi 17.6 is choppy on playback, not buffering but choppy?? Im running phoenix os off 3.0 usb stick, using windows 7, freeflix hq works fine as well as Terrarium tv ? Weird huh ? Ive messed with kodi settings and Windows settings nothing, also tried using spmc and mygica? 

Please help as i would really love to have kodi on a portable usb drive.

GOTO SETTINGS THEN PLAYER SETTINGS  (LOOK AT DOWN SIDE YOU WILL SEE NORMA,BASIC,ADVANCE,EXPERT) MAKE IT EXPERT THEN LOOK UPSIDE TOUCH VIDEO .THERE IS ALLOW HARDWARE ACCELERATION SURFACE   disable it and there is allow hardware acceleration disable it too. there is two hardware acceleration disable both. check out and reply

I have noticed the same activity from my Intel NUC(NUC5PGYH) as btingle1 has mentioned.  From my experience it seems that when it comes to playback the screen sizing is not correct.  I have a live wallpaper in the background and I can see it on the top and bottom of the playback window which is supposed to be full screen.  This does not seem to happen on the same hardware when I boot into Windows 10 instead of Phoenix x64.  My guess without any evidence is that this is part of the problem with the choppy playback.



I will try this suggestion and report back if there is any change.
